Solution Architect - Service & Maintenance

Primary Job Role

As a Solution Architect – Service and Maintenance, you will work closely with customers to design and deliver scalable IFS solutions that optimise service operations, maintenance processes, and overall business performance.

This role offers the opportunity to lead solution design across IFS Cloud implementations and transformation projects, leveraging your expertise in the Service and Maintenance module and broader IFS product suite. Working alongside cross-functional teams and global stakeholders, you will provide strategic guidance, translate business requirements into effective solution architectures, and deliver high-quality outcomes that drive customer success.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Own and define end-to-end solution architecture for IFS Service & Maintenance implementations and upgrades.
• Lead solution design across Field Service, Work Management, Scheduling & Dispatch, Service Contracts, and Mobile (WaDaCo/FSM)
• Engage with customers to understand business challenges and design scalable, future-ready solutions aligned with IFS Cloud roadmap.
• Provide architectural guidance on integrations, data flows, and reporting solutions.
• Lead and mentor functional consulting teams, ensuring high-quality solution delivery.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers, facilitating workshops and influencing business transformation.
• Support presales and solutioning activities, including RFP responses and effort estimations.
• Ensure alignment with industry best practices and EA delivery standards.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of the broader IFS application landscape and leverage it to design and govern end-to-end enterprise solutions, ensuring cross-functional alignment and enabling effective ownership of overall solution delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's (MBA/MSc) is an advantage.
• 12–15 years of IFS implementation experience with strong expertise in Service & Maintenance and IFS Cloud.
• Certified in IFS Cloud/Service & Maintenance; Enterprise Architecture or Integration certifications are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Field Service Management, Scheduling & Dispatch, Service Contracts, SLAs, and Mobile Solutions (WaDaCo/FSM).
• Proven solution architecture, complex system integration, stakeholder management, and business-to-technology solution design skills.
