Lead Technical Consultant

Primary Job Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Lead Technical Consultant to join our growing North America team. This role will play a key part in delivering innovative IFS solutions, partnering with clients to address complex business challenges, and leading the successful implementation, customization, and integration of IFS Applications and IFS Cloud.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Partner with clients across North America to understand business objectives and translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Design, develop, configure, and customize IFS Applications and IFS Cloud solutions to meet client and project requirements.
• Lead technical delivery activities, including IFS Cloud upgrades, system integrations, custom development, and data migration initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership throughout project lifecycles, ensuring successful implementation, issue resolution, and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with project timelines and business goals.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and leverage emerging IFS capabilities to drive innovation and business value.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and advancements within the IFS ecosystem.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience working with IFS Applications and/or IFS Cloud solutions
• Strong expertise in IFS architecture, configuration, customization, and technical solution design.
• Proven experience delivering IFS Cloud upgrades, integrations, customizations, and data migration projects.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL and experience working with IFS development tools, including IFS Cloud, IFS Applications 10, IFS Developer Studio, and IFS Report Designer.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Relevant IFS certifications, such as Certified Practitioner IFS Cloud Web Developer or Certified Practitioner Technical Consultant, will be considered an advantage.
